Coordinate calculator Reviews

Replacement for my old setting out calculator

I generally use this calculator to set up new local grids rather than setting out as the modern TS 16 and 20 robotic total stations mean you no longer have to set out using bearing and distance. It would take for ever that way. If you’re on a small site and you’ve been given some dwgs without coords then this app is perfect for setting up your own local grid.

This is little use for setting out on site. Usually, when setting out on site you are given sets of coordinates for a building and the coordinates of 2 setting out stations. What would be more use is to enter in the station coordinates you are set up on, then the coordinates of the reference station you can see through the theodolite. Then enter the coordinates of the point you want to set out and be given a bearing and a distance.

Good app

Been waiting for one of these apps for a while, it's a nice simple app but could do with more in one. Bearing and distance, grid transformation and some radius calcs. Would be nice.

Clever. Too clever. My favourite bit is where you put the numbers in!!!!

Saved my Job

One of the engineers forgot his calculator today and we really needed to set out some footings. Thanks to the app we saved the day.
