As the world was forced into distance learning I was concerned about my sons education. I had so many questions and needed to know that my son was going to continue to have access to academic content. Copia class was easy for my son to use. As a student with learning difficulties having the use of digital media to help him learn made a huge difference in his learning. He was able to do better using Copia. He struggles in school without the use of digital resources. He works well with digital media and can read more books using a digital platform. The Copia App allowed my son to feel more confident about reading and using highlighting features. He had both his reading books and math course work on Copia. I truly liked the program as a parent and I was particularly happy that my son took to it and his learning was not disrupted during remote learning. All students should have access to digital textbooks and novels. I would love to see this app available to parents. My son is going to high school soon. After using Copia I am looking for schools that use digital media and LMS in the same way. If not I would like the option to use Copia as part of my homeschooling program.

do not use this app

I downloaded a book from class, thinking that the website would allow me to download it and read it from my laptop, but this is not the case. It does not work on a computer, you must use an Ipad or phone. I don’t think reading a 550 page book from my phone is feasible and I do not have an Ipad. Thoroughly frustrated and now I have to buy the book again, which is not only frustrating but a burden in an already tough time. Do not waste your money on this horrible app.

DO NOT USE COPIA CLASS FOR TEXTBOOKS

I cant access my textbook on my computer because apparently the Copia web reader cant open it. If you need to use a textbook on a PC DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I honestly recommend not using this service at all as not having this feature is ridiculous and nothing on their website or support has been helpful. I regret paying money for my textbook through Copia if I could refund it I would but the code is apparently one time use and nonrefundable.

Not so good

App is unresponsive. Cannot download anything or even read my books that I bought. Big issues that need to be fixed.

Can’t use split view.

I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned that you can’t use split view with this app (I’m using the 2017 iPad Pro). I can’t use Copia Class and GoodNotes in split view and it’s making it really inconvenient for people who take notes this way. Unfortunately, my professor is trying out Copia Class this semester and I have to use it.

Ok app. Could use split screen capabilities

I don’t mind this app. It’s convenient to have my textbook in an app. The pages don’t match up, but using the table of contents makes this issue mostly inconsequential. One thing this app needs is the option to open in split screen with another app. I take notes on my iPad and as of right now I can’t have my book and GoodNotes open without overlaying GoodNotes on the book. That blocks some of the textbook and is incredibly inconvenient.

Doesn’t work

The app states that an “admin” changed my username. Then it kicked me out the app and forced me to re-login. Upon logging in, the textbook is not available, and the “admin” message pops up again. The customer support is also useless as they only say “use the textbook online”.

Worst App Ever!

Consistently the worst app ever! Kicks me out all the time and crashes way too much. If you plan on learning anything, DO NOT get this app.
