CopyIt The Grid Drawing Method Reviews

Great App

I’ve had this app for a few year’s now and it has been an invaluable tool. Highly recommend.

Great App, One suggestion

Hi! I had just purchase the Copyit app and is loving it. I believe it will help me immensely with my work. One suggestion: With the option to resize either the grid or the image, it require one to drag the corners of the grid/image. It would be immensely more useful to just use the pinch gesture. This would allow one to zoom as well as moving to an ideal spot so much easier, as sometimes we may wan to layer the grid onto the picture in particular ways for various reasons.

Excellent app, does what I need it to and more

Wonderfully user friendly

Great for when your project is too important to leave to drawing by eye, or even just to use as a guideline of relative size and distance, if you don't want to draw a grid. I find it unbelievably useful when drawing people I know. Lots of useful functions, like onion skin, overlay, and being able to change the size, number, colour and style of your guidelines (so they don't blend into the picture or interrupt your view of the image too much). And by far the easiest to use of the apps I tried.

Zoom problem

Paint bliss on

My photos are transferred from photos in 2x zoom so I am unable to see the top of photo to grid and hence sketch off. The pinch activation does not work. I would like a refund until the problem is fixed. Good idea but not effective.

I don't like it, waste of money

Unless someone can tell me how to get the full image and not just half? This is stupid if it only uses half your photo longways!

Indispensable for artist’s

Why do you need a crop tool? You should have edited your picture BEFOREHAND! This app is invaluable for transferring an edited photo to canvas or paper ready for the painting. It's like a renaissance electronic pounce bag! If you don't know what that is then you're not a proper artist! It doesn’t need music.....unnecessary!

Game changer for aspiring artists

Don't buy any old rubbish on

This is a great App for artists. You pop in a picture from photos etc. then can see it as black and white, Notran or other formats / levels of grey scale. The grids allow precise copying or guidelines and the colour picker is almost as good as real paint pro. Get that as well and your up and running with creating great paintings. You’ll need paints and brushes and canvases too of course. It’s only an App just a very useful one imho.

Wonderful
