Cornflower

Real-time music composition

Published by: Ronald Herrema

Description

Cornflower is a list-based, real-time music composition and improvisation tool. It includes 3 voices and makes use of a physically modelled string instrument that is generated in real time using the JUCE sound library. For each voice there are separate fields for Pitch, Dynamics, and Rhythm. Values can be entered either numerically, using MIDI values, or more traditionally, using standard music notation names and symbols.
The app includes a built-in recording feature that enables you either to share the recorded files over the air or to download them via your device's file system. (Note that it does not transmit in real time via Bluetooth or WiFi - these are features for future releases.)
