How much does Corridor Digital cost?
Corridor Digital has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 269.00 r.
Very buggy. App keeps telling me to get a subscription, even though I’m logged in and have a one year subscription. Ultra frustrating. If you are going to compete with yourself Corridor, free on YouTube, your app needs to work WAY better than this.
Useless without chromecast support
Asked about chromecast support when they launched, like a year ago and it's still not here. It literally makes me not watch anything on the site, since I wanna watch it on the big screen.
Love the content, but that app is broken.
I love the content on CD, but I currently can’t even log in to the app anymore. Using google/Apple to login just causes an infinite loading screen.
Can’t log in with Apple
The login just keeps loading forever. I have an active subscription (billing monthly); it just doesn’t let me access the content I’m paying for.
Why
I can’t each fo free
Very good
The only thing that would make corridor digital better is if you could watch videos offline.
Great content, terrible app
Absolutely love the content, but the app is very frustrating. Any time I have to close the app to swap to another app, and then try to come back, it will not play the video unless I shut down the app completely. It also does not really keep track of where I was at, so I have to search the video to find where I was at if I step away for just a minute. It also does not set up the auto play in the right Order. You would think that a company that is dedicated to digital arts would be willing to put some work into their app to make it functional. I’m happy to pay for the service, but I think it is a reasonable request to have a functional app.
Functional, but not great to use
It's been months since I could scroll to the left without suffering a seizure on any of side-scrolling video lists. Speaking of video lists, why can't I just see a simple list of all of the series you guys have made? There are a lot of user experience choices that need to be revisited here. The app feels more comparable to using a webpage than a native app.
Great App & Amazing Channel!
I wish there was a way to have episodes play chronologically for one particular show. Like Crew Cuts, tap on it and have it play oldest to most recent…
Otherwise, we love the crew!
Could use some quality of life touches
The app works well overall but there are a few things that feel clunky. Mostly it’s with the video player, which doesn’t have the ability to zoom to wide screen. It also doesn’t have subtitles. Lastly, you can’t continuously tap to skip forward as the menu overlay disappears after skipping.
A few other bugs I noticed:
- When I have spotty connection, it’ll show I’m logged in but then tell me to log in/subscribe when I click on a video. However, other online apps will typically work (ie. YouTube, Netflix)
- the home page always marks a video as “new” even if I’ve watched it. Gets confusing when multiple videos are released.
Like most I’ve been watching Corridor on YouTube for years. IMO YouTube has one of the best video players for mobile, and the missing features in this video player was a little jarring.
Regardless, I’m so glad Corridor has this going for them! I’m happy to be a subscriber and supporter of the exceptional content they create.
