Why is this app available for the iPad yet it’s not supported?
This app works best on a desktop - the iphone is too small as it can only show one screen. Recently I saw a person post how easy it is to create a column to follow a trending hashtag #pizzawar. Well I tried and there was no way it was working on a phone. It might work on an ipad but I sm not sure this runs on that device - many complaints that it doesn’t. I also find that the iphone interface goes to sleep, sometimes for 18 hours. Currently I am on 8 hours of nothing new. Twitter bombards you with posts. This app lets you work and sleep. And not check it
On the day I write this, Counter.Social is 5 years old from their official launch date. I’ve been there for most of that time. The app and website are feature-rich and the performance is really good, despite a few server-side iterations to increase hardware performance. Mostly I love the people there. People who behave badly/rudely/post misinfo are shown the door. What is left is people that have the emotional ability to converse as mindful adults. There’s plenty of kindness, empathy, and laughter - oh and photos of pets; lots and lots of pets. I hope more new users join us and discover how social media can be - without malicious actors and behaviour in bad-faith.
Using on an iPad is not supported.
The app runs well. It may lag a bit right now with the influx of users, but it’s growing quickly and that’s expected. Helpful community and the firehose has all the posts in one feed. No looking through a bunch of communities to find your place. Very interactive.
A great place to meet great people and enjoy actual discussions about important stuff. The absence of bots and bullies makes it so.
CoSo is by all measures the best social platform available to security and privacy minded users who want a safe, sane, fun online experience with access to great functions like encrypted video calling, custom built VR realms, setting up Groups, DMs and more. The creator is a visionary with a talented team dedicated to the user’s experience.
I haven’t been on this social network long, but I know this is going to be home base for me. Tons of features, friendly people, no bots, no deep fakes and no ads!! Fantastic job by the developers.
Can’t be used on iPad - having to connect via a browser is not really a solution
Not supported on iPad even though it claims it is
