I’ve played this game for so many devices and I’ve gotten so far so many times. It has left me with scars of happiness in my life and I will never be forgetting the glory and joy I experienced in this game. You should get to the game to it is truly amazing

I LOVE this game. Ive had my account a LONG time and still find it feeling fresh and exciting. However I am giving 3 stars because the failure to comply with ASA guidelines in terms of special pricing. I purchase a £2.99 time limited sale price in app-purchase which was then at a lower time limited sale price within a week. I work within a sales job and rules are that if an item is sold at a sale price and time-limited this product cannot return to a lower price within a certain time-period. Because of this I have exercised my right of withdrawal on those purchases. However. INCREDIBLE game, strategies are endless, there seems to be an almost endless amount of levels and events have become quite regular.

Got a new update and it’s what the game needed so much. Made an already fantastic game perfect. The new invasions make getting new cards not too difficult and improves the game so much

Now don’t get me wrong, other TDs like the bloons series are very fun games but crazy kings just blows away the competition with their unique style. The Tower Defense: The actual Tower Defense at first glance is quite standard. You place your towers and they kill enemies, this tower is slightly better at killing that enemy than this tower... all that. But when you look deeper; and especially when you unlock more and more cards, there is tons of strategy and tower synergy involved. You’re not mindlessly spamming the same tower over and over to victory, you have to carefully plan your defense and place your towers in the right spots if you want to win. It is truly one of the best games for strategic tower defense. The Spells: I don’t really have much to say about spells... they are a great addition and brilliant in early game but they are outshined by heroes and towers that can sometimes be downright overpowered in the late game. The spells are unique and a cool concept but I don’t really care for it. The Heroes: Quite possibly the most attractive part of this game. When you begin the game you gain a handful of tower and spell cards and also your own customisable hero that you can control in battle to stall and kill enemies. As you progress you unlock better gear for your hero as well as unlocking new heroes that can also stall and kill enemies but can’t have custom gear. This is the defining, unique trait that sets crazy kings apart from other TDs. It actually adds a skill cap to a tower defense where you have to efficiently manage your heroes to beat a level. Truly an innovative and amazing feature. Now this wouldn’t be a fair review without going over some of the problems the game has. I am going to run over my 2 biggest problems I have had to deal with in the game. Upgrading: As you progress, you will find that your cards will become less effective at killing. This is solved with the upgrade system where you combine 2 cards of the same level to get 1 of the next level e.g. 2 + 2 = 3. This isn’t much of a problem with common cards such as the archer tower but it is a big problem with rarer cards like the tesla tower and soul well, albeit both the cards are really powerful. Now this can be solved in 2 ways: grinding, which is limited by the problem I will talk about next, and buying card packs which costs real money. Energy: The most annoying feature that stops your progress, the classic energy meter. Each level takes 10 energy to play regardless if

I’ve been playing this game for a few years now on and off but always keep coming back to it. Best TD game out there. Whenever a level gets too difficult it gives you the incentive to grind for more cards to level your deck, always something to aim for without having to throw hundreds at it. Keep up the good work guys and throw us a few more 80% deals once in a while! Cheers.

Despite the character design looking a little dated, it has a lot more too it than similar games and is quite addictive. There’s plenty to do and there is reasonable strategy required even for a TD addict like me. The game flows very well as do graphics, music and sounds, even if there is little originality or complexity in the last 2 points. There’s no cheap pixelation either, even on the large iPad Pro. I will likely make a reward spend (for the makers benefit) at some point when I’m feeling richer. I personally prefer working for my rewards. Recommended.
