Cricket Mag FAQ
Is Cricket Mag free?
Yes, Cricket Mag is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Cricket Mag legit?
🤔 The Cricket Mag app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
There are issues with the way subscription are being handled.
When trying to make an account to be able to view the content on several devices you get multiple error messages, forcing you to purchase a single use option. And customer service is MOST CERTAINLY not helpful.
It is a shame because the content is superb, but the lousy delivery and customer service will scar the Cricket Media brand permanently.
So far not very useful
This is an app for buying and storing magazines. It has a free trial button, but its blocked by a dialogue box for downloading previous purchases, which does not go away. It has a button for previewing the current issue, but it doesn't work.
Issues still
I do not get a Mag that others have told over more then six months of issues with there app. Fix your problem. I just signed up for a year. Downloaded the May/June 2016, started to read to see if it was good to go. Well after three pages of looking. It just quite on me. No issue to look at and it wants me to pay again. Again fix your app!!! I just checked my account with apple and you charged me for one year, even after your Dam signup says you have 30 days free. Where is the 30 days free at!!!! Give me my money back now, will be contacting apple over this screwing!!!
Great magazine, horrible app
I associate Cricket magazine with high quality, which is why it mystifies me as to why their app is so useless. It never downloads the entire magazine on the first try and I must repeatedly delete and re-download the issue. Past issues mysteriously "disappear" from my library so I'm forced to constantly re-download them. Just awful.
Waste of time and money.
I bought subscriptions to both cricket and ladybug online in March. They worked fine until June and then abruptly stopped. Changed aps and everything and nothing worked. The company suggested that I get ITunes to credit me for lost issues bought through them and gave me no help with getting the ap to work nor did they refund me my money. iTunes has refunded nothing. I am stuck with two useless subscriptions, two upset kids and aps that don't work.
I love this magazine!
It's grreeeaaaaaaaat!
Very impressed!
Cricket was the first digital magazine I've read where I felt the app version actually enhanced the reading experience. I found the navigation simple and intuitive, and the extras are rewarding. I especially enjoyed looking at other versions of the final artwork, or being able to read an author's bio. We already subscribe to three print-versions of Carus publications, but I will be adding a fourth, digital subscription to our repertoire. Well done, Cricket! I was not expecting to be impressed, but I am.
Digital Access is fine
We've loved Cricket for a long time and the digital edition lives up to the same standard - the art looks beautiful on the iPad and the interactive features are fun without being distracting. We had no problem accessing digitally Asa print subscriber.
Great!
Another excellent app from Carus publishing!
Kids
This app is great for my kids. I like that they want to read and that this engages them.
