I have all of my sound turned off and they still play loud adds. And if its adds for an energy refill then there doesn even pop up a mute button on the ad the whole time. I keep getting deafened by the adds as Im listening to a quiet podcast at the same time as playing.
Its also brutal with you pretty much just having one chance on each lvl.
Hard
It's too hard! Uninstalled because it was not possible to solve a path! Make it easier so maybe you can play it
Very mixed feelings
The good:
- game graphics
- most of the gameplay
- Random generated levels
- the optional daily
- making one mistake means the level will be 2 stars
- a lot of content
The bad:
- too many ads (best played offline)
- the game makes you need boosters or ”video watching” help (talking about Miami)
- you will never remember the cases, you collect clues and uncover the one who did it (i never cared)
- the difficulty, because of RNG can go from easy to very hard in the same level set
- the energy cost is high and random (my highest was around 422, in Miami). The max energy is 1000. Why not the same value for all sets?
- you never get boosters again, unless you pay
- you never get gold again, unless you pay
- no reward for doing the daily (besides you feeling good about yourself)
A ”meh” game.
Ad glitches lose progress
Love the game play and range of puzzle difficulties. But probably about 30-40% of the time the ads (either required at the end of levels or ones for gaining extras) freeze and glitch so I’m stuck. The only way out is to close the app and I lose all progress in that level and the coffee used to start it. I have a good internet connection so I don’t know what else could be causing this issue repeatedly.
In-App Purchases
How come the daily challenges were free for me just last week and now i have to pay?? Maybe one to two months ago, they also had no option of watching an ad to restart and i would have to pay. Never spending a dime on this game! I won't lie, i am upset. However, I'll still be playing this stupid game! 😭
Okay Overall
Overall, it is a very fun game. With that being said, I do have a few issues. When you make a wrong move, it takes MOST of your life, but when you collect food to refill your life it takes so much bc it BARELY refills life. Also, there is NO way to receive coins unless you buy them. So after you run out of coins that the game offers you, the only way to try again on a level after you die is by watching an ad but the issue with that is the fact that your life refills with less than 10%. The game is cheap, but I refuse to pay for coins in a game when I have so many financial responsibilities in real life.
It’s ok….
But why are all the dead people dark skinned? I understand I’m at the beginning of the game but I do not want to continuously see people of color as the murder victims.
Great but
The game is fun. Cute. I liked playing it. However the amount of ADS is absolutely ridiculous. I gave up after 2 days of this game just for that.
Overheating
Fun game, but holy crap it makes my phone overheat…and like, really fast.
Seems Money Hungry
Hate that the tutorial makes it seem like you can use as many of the cones as you want. I liked playing the daily’s because it was exciting. Now, you have to use coins to replay levels. It’s fun, but I’m not about to spend money to buy coins or lives or ad free.
