Although we try our best, thread colors may not appear to be completely accurate. Cross Stitch Creator Reviews
Good but not great
There is a lot of awesome things about this app. It transfers drawings for the most part, still requires editing and cleaning up. But, one of the things that bothers me though is having to hold the square down to draw and fill in multiple squares. I can see why it could be helpful to have a toggle, but I wish it was a setting I could change. Additionally, when choosing dmc thread, the sort doesn’t save, so you have to go in and re-sort how you want it to be the next time you go to find a color. Additionally, I wish I could choose what symbols the thread use, but haven’t been able to find a way to do that yet, hope they can continue to perfect it!
Help
How do I delete palletes and how do I select my palette colors by using my pattern not having the app decide where colors go?
Disapointed
When I buy this app I think I can print
Just bought
Learning but looks like it does a good job. The pictures show the chart pattern on one page. I understand the color key is on a separate page but I would like the actual chart to be all on one page please.
Great app and great customer support!
I just downloaded this app and am super impressed. I was even more impressed when I contacted Adam with a feature suggestion and got an almost instantaneous response. I’m using this app for weaving and it is saving me tons of time.
Can’t change grid
No customer service contact in app help section.
The app has setting to change the grid, but the thick black lines every 10 squares won’t change. If I need a cross stitch grid 16 count, I can’t change these 10 count lines. Also the grid is too dark on a saved pdf pattern. The app don’t have select and mirror element feature. Wasted money. Could use pixel art maker instead.
Extremely limited
This app is basically un-usable. Limited controls with no explanation on how to use, no tutorials. Complicated and frustrating. A waste of $10.54.
Great Despite Bugs
This app is great! The only issue I have with it is that some pictures won’t upload. Most pictures upload fine, and when they do, this app is fantastic. It would be nice to have an account to save my patterns so I don’t lose them if the app gets erased or I get a new device.
Color completion
Thank you so much Adam for adding the progress bar on the color showing how many stitches are left of each color - awesome upgrade!
Great! Hopeful for new updates:)
This app is so great! I prefer to work on my ipad when making patterns because it’s easier to transfer my designs and also my apple pencil to edit the patterns. This app is perfect for that and a pretty reasonable price. From what I’ve seen of reviews and updates, the developers are really good about listening to what users are looking to change. The only thing that I’m hoping to see in the future is a bit more freedom in selecting the symbols for different thread colors but that’s more of a comment than a criticism:)
