I have this app on my iPad, I went to open it to look at some designs I wanted to start, only to find the App wouldn’t open. I rebooted my iPad, still the app wouldn’t open so I deleted the app and reinstalled only to find the magazines I had purchased, through my Apple account, have gone and when I tap on the reload purchases bought through Apple NOTHING happens. At this point in time I am angry and very disappointed.
Do NOT buy magazines through this app. Bought a full years subscription and also purchased numerous other earlier magazines. They updated the app and I could no longer access any of them. After contacting them on numerous occasions they could not solve the problem. LOTS of money wasted!!!
This used to work brilliantly but now it will not even open the app. So it is useless and I have paid for a years subscription. So imagine my disappointment. Not happy.
Had 3 years of issues in old version. Updated version (new owners) does not restore purchases as it says it will. I log in successfully click on restore purchases then get asked to log in and so on in a continual loop Very poor
There are good points to this app such as access to past copies of the magazine and the facility to share favourite articles, patterns etc. However there is one very big flaw the latest edition does not automatically download when it is published. This leads to frustration and disappointment for the customer who is eagerly anticipating the new material especially as it takes several days for customer services to sort out the problem with the relevant department before the edition is eventually downloaded. Also some of the features mentioned in the ‘in app tour’ are not available on the app - at least not on mine. Hopefully the publishers technical team will look to rectifying these issues as soon as possible.
No obvious way to zoom in so utterly useless on a phone - can’t read a word. An absolute joke!
I have found it really helpful to have both the digital as well as hard copies. You can enlarge the charts and don't need to carry multiple magazines around.
