I put a word in and it says it’s wrong then it turns out it was the correct word, I had suspicion that was happening so I took note of what words I tried and it’s true, I put innuendo and epoch into the crossword and it said they were wrong and it turned out they were correct. It’s rare it happens and it is an ok app.
Ads within the game at the bottom of the screen are a huge distraction.
At last a decent sized arrow word puzzle that is just the right standard for me for general knowledge. I don’t mind the pop up video adds as the rewards are coins so you can go further in the game! Sadly games has frozen! 😖
If you like the puzzle books then you’ll enjoy this. It’s a great game and not too difficult to complete. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is sometimes the letters are jumbled up so you have to play a hint because it’s impossible to guess which letter is wrong. Apart from that, I love playing it.
Randomly whilst using this app, it would try to use face recognition and I didn’t know why, but it kept happening so I’ve deleted the app now.
What's the point in paying 8.99 a month for no ads when you still need or watching them to move to the next level or earn coins?!?!?

Gutted to have completed all of them! There’s about 65 pages so plenty. I must have downloaded the vast majority of crossword apps and this one is by far the best.

Lots of spelling mistakes. Lots of incorrect answers. Missing pictures. But the worst thing is… since the update there are NO pictures whatsoever on the crossywords, and the reward for completing each puzzle has gone down from the previous 300 to 169. That’s a 52% decrease. Why? We waiting years for an update to this app having only had 230 crosswords to do, all with numerous and repeating answers (Eli Roth anyone) now we’ve got more yes, that’s great, but they still have numerous mistakes in. Do better.
