What is CrowdMeter?
CrowdMeter shows the expected crowdedness of various destinations on a map so you can make more informed choices about where to go. The map marker colors indicate expected crowdedness (green=low, yellow=medium, red=high).
Why create CrowdMeter?
The idea behind CrowdMeter is to help inform people about how crowded venues are so they can more easily avoid crowds and long checkout lines.
Who can use CrowdMeter?
For now, CrowdMeter only shows maps for Ithaca, NY. Soon it will be scaled up to accommodate more users and a larger geographic area.
