I’ve followed Senada Greca for years on her Instagram account. I’ve tried some of her ab workouts and wanted to try a full workout with her. I love her app, she has given access to so many programs and meal plans. I especially enjoy her gym program as I’ve been going to my gym for a number of years and now feel I have focus and know what my goals are. Highly recommend her app and her way of working out. I always feel strong when I leave the gym.
One of the standout features of this app are the many Senada training plans. She has developed special workouts for every level of fitness. You’ll find a workout that’s suits your level. Also, after completing an initial assessment, the app tailors a nutrition plan to suit your individual fitness goals and preferences. This level of customization has been a game-changer for me, as it keeps me motivated and on track to achieve my targets. The choice of meals is also amazing! What sets Crush It apart from other fitness apps is the sense of community it fosters. Through the app, you can connect with like-minded individuals in the FaceBook group, share your progress, and encourage each other. Senada herself is sometimes actively involved in the community, providing valuable advice, tips, and words of encouragement, which makes the whole experience feel personal and inspiring.
I downloaded the Crush It app in January so I could complete the challenge at the start of the year. Since then, I’ve completed two programs and am about to start my third. Whist there is some repetition in the exercises I’ve become stronger and I’ve really worked on my form. I feel that I’ve made real progress and I am really proud of myself! I realized during this time that I was probably on the wrong subscription and the folk at Senada’s team changed it for me immediately! Love the choice in the meal plan. I was surprized at the choice and meals I actually want to eat! Great app and a great PT.
UPDATE 7.20.23: There was an update to how the layout appears and that’s better but now the additional issue is that the videos take forever to load. Lots of spinning. That’s frustrating when you’re at the gym and you’re not familiar with the move. The app still doesn’t save the data you enter for each workout correctly. Again, love the workouts but don’t love the app. ORIGINAL REVIEW: She knows what she’s doing and her movements are unique and effective. I’ve been using the app for over a year. Even with the update, it’s bad. The app is inconsistent at best. You’ll lose workouts, it doesn’t track your entries in the correct exercise, and the layout isn’t very user friendly. I record exercises sometimes but find myself spending way too much time at the gym trying to get my entries to stick in the right place. If you want to record, it’s best to take paper & pen with you. My favorite feature of the app besides the programming are her demo videos. Let’s say this app is a great guide to follow along with if it works properly.
The app videos take forever to load. Not a very friendly app. I prefer Sweet or Alo move. Overall not recommend.
As other reviews have noted, Senada has great movements—and I’m grateful she took the time to contribute to this app—but it’s definitely buggy. As my title notes, problems are not insurmountable, they’re just annoying when I’m in a flow: - I have to reload exercises several times to ensure reps are recorded in the right space. This happens nearly every time I go to record - Sometimes the wrong circuit will load on a different day. When this happens the image stretches laterally across the whole screen (maybe that’s how they’re telling you to shut it down and reopen) It seems folks have reported these same issues for 2+ years and while I’m sure they’re putting effort in here, the fact that they’re still not resolved tells me this is not a priority experience for Senada’s team. That’s ok—they’ve got a lot going on! It just might not be worth the money for me. I’m only 2 weeks in so not sure which way I’ll go but the movements are really fantastic. Other small notes that aren’t bugs but degrade experience a bit: - Drops you back to the home screen after exiting so you need to scroll back to the program you were last in every time - No space to record notes on effort which I thought was pretty common for these apps now
I was super excited to try this app out. I have been following Senada for a few years on IG and LOVE the way she looks. I have been lifting for about 4 years now and have tried a lot of different programs and even followed my own. I found this program to be inconvenient as the gym locations I’m at dont always have the same equipment and other apps ive tried allow me to input the equipment i have available or alternate the exercise to accommodate. Her program to me was not at an advanced level and i left each workout feeling like i didnt accomplish much. Also not a fan of the videos with little explanation, especially on the HIIT workouts. I will not be using again, the Sweat app and others fit my needs better
Love the workouts but this app is not well thought out and so many bug issues…found other app same price with so many more amazing options and tracking tools and easier to navigate through. Three stars for workouts only.
I downloaded the app, tried it for a week. Billing was denied twice (not by my CC limits). The app is super glitchy w the workouts. It does NOT save your stored info when you enter your pounds lifted & reps. For the price you pay, I would expect a better app that could at the very least save my reps and pounds lifted. Seriously. Fix your -ish
