There's no way to turn off several automatic hint letters being filled in for you. Filling in one letter highlights the other times it appears in a puzzle but doesn’t fill them in. Puzzles don’t autocomplete when correct—you have to manually submit your solution. And if you’re off by a letter or accidentally hit the submit button, it wipes your progress and fills in new random hints. The interface looks nice but playing is frustrating and tedious.
