CSU Visits Reviews

Nice app for self guided tour

We used the app today to tour campus and selected various places to visit. It doesn’t come close to a scheduled guided tour but since we were visiting last minute this app was great. We easily skipped around the tour and it allowed us to visit campus without any knowledge of the campus. This only negative is the app needs to add PARKING to show us where to start!!! We parked in what I thought was public parking but got a warning for parking without a permit.

Doesn’t work

This app is worthless. What little info there is, is worthless and it doesn’t load the maps. Don’t even bother with this.

Doesn’t work

Prospective student visiting campus, thought this app was a really good idea, but like the other reviewers I couldn’t get it to work at all. Immediately crashed on opening, couldn’t get it to even get past the first page. Leaving this review mostly so that the developers get warned and can work on the issues.

Very cool

I’m not able to visit campus this summer but was really able to explore campus using this app. I loved the student perspective videos and pictures of campus. I told the app what I like and it created a tour based entirely on my interests. Can’t wait to visit in person and use the navigation and AR features on campus.

Not helpful

Little information provided and hard to use in terms of actual navigation. The option to redirect to certain locations did not work for me and instead it kept you on the same route you were on before. If you accidentally cleared/shut down the app you would have to resubmit all your information and start over from the beginning. No more helpful than your basic campus map.

The app is great

The only problem I have with this app is that it closed whenever I closed my phone, but otherwise it was great!

Awful.

Automated voice system, unlike other schools that have students sharing their own experiences. All the links and buttons that I clicked caused the app to crash. Absolutely horrible, and they have really no information, and just give you links and buttons to click, just redirecting you back to their website. This tour alone made me not want to go to CSU. Do better.
