Does the job
I don’t know why people put bad reviews. This software edits the m-gave devices without a problem. You have to connect through midi first then search for device in app. It’s working great with m-cave pad.

You would search for nearby devices and it does absolutely nothing. They need to develop another way to update these devices. Because right now they’re garbage.
Not the most intuitive interface. No instruction manual whatsoever. Would be good to have one for folks who are novices at MIDI. Biggest negative is the reverse polarity on the expression pedal. That’s a huge negative. Even after reversing the settings in this app it still didn’t work. So my wah pedal in my apps works opposite. Push the physical pedal down and the app pedal goes up and vice versa. Incredibly frustrating. Toggling effects works fine. Haven’t tried the other features such as switching presets or using it to control video because there’s no instructions included on how to do that. Don’t get this or the M Vave Chocolate MIDI foot controller if you like to use a wah pedal. Wait until they get this oversight fixed and have support service who will get back to you. UPDATE/EDIT 7.21.24 After my review was posted, I figured out through online research how to reverse the polarity. Better instructions are still needed. Use the Advanced Custom mode to reverse your pedal’s polarity and you’ve got a nice economic midi pedal. I can now recommend getting it and using the app. Upgraded my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Support has still not returned my emails. That needs improved greatly. Update 9/28: Reverse polarity on wah pedal still plagues this app. Advanced custom mode corrects it in some apps, but then I can’t toggle pedals on and off even after programming them correctly in this mode. Just about ready to toss it in the trash. Fix it already! Dropped my rating from 4 to 1. Boooo!
Lekato come on! Unless I’m missing something, the app is completely useless.
You might as well throw away your M-VAVE and Chocolate devices because this app is so seriously broken that it no longer allows these devices to be properly updated or configured.
I am using this with the SMC mixer, and it works for the most part but 1) selecting “note” for the buttons doesn’t allow setting the midi channel, as it does for other modes. Instead it inherits the last channel you set for a different mode. 2) there is no way to save a mixer preset to a file on iOS - this makes it far less useful than it should be! I hope you guys are able to make this nice product even better!
Unlike the other review left here, I was able to get the MWAVE foot controller to control Ableton in the way I wanted. However I found that the app does not offer all the programming options that are available on the desktop version (Mac in my case). I probably won’t be needing this app but I still found it to be easily connect and simple to use.
I wish an update makes it possible to configure the E and F keys (A+B and C+D) in “Advanced custom mode”. That way we can have 10 or 12 controls.
I’m using it with SMC-Pad and Chocolate. It works ok with Chocolate although there are UI quirks. With the pad it’s a disaster, it crashes constantly (try pressing Reset - instant crash), UI glitches when entering numeric values (can’t save changes because the buttons shift off-screen), setting pad colors doesn’t work, etc etc. Did anyone actually try using it before releasing???
Will not detect iPhone through BT or wire.
