Description

Students, software developers, writers, artists, anyone with a todo list – Cucumber Timer is for those who wants to achieve their daily goals regularly. Set a rhythm to focusing and having regular breaks so you can get more done and save your energy. By keeping a non-distracting overview of the passed and remaining time to focus, Cucumber helps you stay motivated, avoid distractions and avoid accidentally siting for too long thus overworking and having no energy afterwards.
-- No ads --
Cucumber will help you concentrate on what's important to *you*.
Feature-rich for free: you can adjust focus and break intervals to reflect your preferences.
Extra customisation can be unlocked after one-time payment: beautiful themes, specially recorded sounds and a feature to set a fixed brightness level in the app to make the battery last longer.
-- Adjust on the go --
Adjust remaining interval with 2 taps any time without affecting your usual settings. Sometimes you might have less time than usual, say you prefer to work for 25 minutes but now have just 10 before an appointment. Or perhaps you're feeling especially focused and would like to sit undisturbed for a longer time than usual. You can either select a new duration of the current interval (e.g., 20 minutes) or end time (finish at 15:30).
-- Intuitive visual time --
Meet the new design for the interval rings that makes the current time interval immediately recognisable, because you already have an intuitive feeling about how many minutes a portion of the watch face is: you can tell, for example, a quarter of an hour without having to count 15 minutes: it's just a quarter of the whole ring.
-- Customize display --
The app has 8 beautiful dark colour themes that are not distracting, visually balanced and readable.
You can choose the screen to stay always on to remind you that you're focusing and keep you on track. You may find yourself lowering the screen brightness to keep the battery last longer as well as to stay discreet on your table in an office or library setting. There is a brightness slider in the app which will keep the brightness at your chosen level when you're in the app, so that you don't have to do it by hand every time.
-- Save battery --
Minimal battery consumption when in foreground and no battery consumption when the app is in background. When you start an interval, Cucumber will schedule notifications to be shown for the future focus and break intervals, so there is no code running in background and draining your phone's battery.
-- Choose sounds --
You can choose if the app plays a sound, just vibrates or stays silent when the new interval starts. Choose from 16 unique sounds recorded specifically for Cucumber.
