Curve FAQ
Is Curve free?
Yes, Curve is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Curve legit?
🤔 The Curve app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
The curve upgrade marketing should be: "pay extra and upgrade your curve plan, we'll re-issue you with a new card without asking you if you wanted one, your Apple Pay and current curve card will stop working instantly, send you a new card that won't arrive; then issue another one and 3 weeks later you'll have a working card, but wait there's more. All those online services and subscriptions will all stop working as they've your old Curve card number, so make sure you set aside an evening to visit those websites and change your card details…”
New UI looks like 90s App
Not sure who thought this new design was good idea, it looks like outdated 90s App back when UX design didn’t matter. Seems whoever designed this is close to retirement age or never used any other mobile app and has basic knowledge of UX Design. An Intern from UNI without experience in design would do better job.. seems like no one even checked the design it’s like oh it’s Mark let’s approve it how bad could it be. Currently curve holds the ugliest UI in app store
Pathetic nagging to upgrade
It’s bad enough that you recently, gutted the free tier to make your paid service more attractive… but now you have a permanent and annoying banner in the app saying “your curve wallet is full”.
There is what *appears* to be an X to dismiss the banner, but it simply redirects you to the upgrade page. Hopefully you get rid of that soon, it really does look rather pathetic.
Not worth it
When it was free it was really handy but the value proposition isn’t there for the price they’re charging.
Horrible Customer service
If you need a reliable customer service for those cases where you need help with transaction, you want to rapidly block or be supported on a transaction or anything in that sense, then go ahead and skip this app.
The idea is nice, but I’ve been 3 weeks so far in this nightmare. Their service is bouncing me back several times, they take days for a reply, without any pro activity at all (they clearly ask a question non related or broadly related to my issue so they can bounce me back for another 3/4 days again). They just reply so they can gain some time, and wait the next agent to leave the ticket to them, and then we start from the beginning again.
Again, 3 weeks of this nightmare. Avoid this app.
Waiting all my life for this app
I absolutely love love love this card and app. No more looking for cards and I like that I can use my Crypto.com card as sometimes the Crypto.com card does not work with “tap” or Apple Pay. Now I can.
The set up was done in less than 2 minutes. Brilliant software and cash back. Love all the other features which I wasn’t expecting tbh.
Keep up the great work.
Bad customer service, using metal card but cannot use the card
I’ve using curve since 2018, as I like it I upgrade it to metal card so I can have extra spending limit and services, and even buy their stock.
But after one month I use the metal card I can’t use it anymore because my card is at the max limit, but every time I open my spending limit with apps it always goes through help page.
I tried to settle it with the agent by email and help, at the first they ask my ID and proof of address which I already upload and send via email, but they responses is so slow, like months, this problem occurred on September and until this month January it’s still haven’t changed.
Every email from them are from different person who asking the same questions either ID or proof of address which I already provided. One of my friends having the same problem and he send the same documents I’ve send and it all done in days, what is wrong with you curve?
And what’s worst? I pay for this card every months but I can’t use it at all. I know this company are real but this services is a BS, I feel like they scam me.
If you read this Curve, please I just want my money back , I used to like you but not anymore due to bad customer services, even for a paid user (metal card).
Great, until its not.
Great app and service, until you have a problem. I was overcharged 5 times the amount i was supposed to pay (machine said card declined, but money was still charged everytime). Customer service is non existant, waiting 5 days (!) and still no response and no money back.
Doesn’t even work useless don’t download it
Doesn’t even work just a blank screen After charging the card for confirmation now it doesn’t work money scam this is nothing less stay away from this much less leaving your card details in it. 👎🏾
Terrible customer service
Waiting on a new card, customer service don’t respond in app (waiting nearly a week) and their social media support still haven’t looked into my issue.
Really would make me think twice about trusting them with my money.
