i love this app and i use it anytime i want to edit any kind of video!!! i do wish there was a feature where you can save your own custom colors for text though. it would be really handy!!

i just love cute cut. i’ll never stop.

i was using cute cut pro for years, but i had enough after this glitch would keep happening to my videos. in between clips or cuts, the screen goes black and you cant correct it. keep in mind im editing youtube videos, which sometimes contain a lot of jumpcuts. so not having the video go completely black in between cuts would be nice like i said only used it this time because i had to get something out quick, and my other program was having exporting issues. not good

I’ve been using Cute Cut for 7 years now. Best editor I’ve ever bought, especially since it’s a mobile app. However, it lacks in a few things mode editors seem to have that I think would benefit this app tremendously. Custom transition graphs and parent layers. On an app call Alight Motion, you’re able to customize the easing in a transition - changing how bouncy it is and how smooth it is. It would be awesome if we could do this instead of being limited to a few existing ones. Parents layers would also be great. Certain videos, images, texts, etc. are locked to a singular layer (another video, image, etc.) and when a transition is applies all of the layers locked to it will move with it instead of having to manually move each one. This would help wonderfully with animations and transition editing!

Crashes a lot

Honestly just gets the job done for quick editing but they seriously need to fix some aspects of it. There are so many times where I close a project file and when I reopen it, it’s corrupted and none of it loads. At this point I think I need to just switch apps LOL

I BOUGHT THIS APP 4 YEARS AGO ITS SO EASY TO USE AND SO MANY OPTIONS TO WORK WITH. I CAN RECORD MUSIC I CAN MAKE ART SLIDES I CAN HELP PEOPLE EDIT VIDEOS YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING AND YOU CAN GET SO FAR BECAUSE OF THE FLEXIBILITY OF THE APP

This is a very versatile editor for a phone app, my two things to complain about are that there should be a way to select and move multiple items at a time. I have a video where I have to trim out about 40 seconds in the middle and moving all the pieces individually is quite monotonous, so being able to just remove that blank space or move the other items all at once would help a lot. When I go to the drag and select feature (the one that gives you the option to delete or insert blank) and try to delete, it often crashes. And by often I mean always. The other thing is that it would be nice to use audio files from the Files app as background noise. As is, I have to screen record them and include that way. Those multiple things, if fixed, would really elevate this from a good editor to a great one.
