CycleComputer is an iPhone app designed to track speed, distance and route in real time when cycling. It has three unique ride information displays and can manage rides history.
Main features
- Three different displays to choose from : digital, analog and map, each with large readings that let you capture all the information with just a glance.
- Easy to use, number of screens kept to a minimum.
- "Automode" that automatically stops the timer when you stop moving.
- Swipe horizontally to switch between digital, analog and map screens.
- Support for both metric(km) and imperial(mi) readings.
- Save, browse and review rides.
- Calculate total ascent and calories for each ride
- Background operation
- Sharing ride details by email, on Facebook/Twitter
- Share ride data(distance/calories) with Apple Health
DISPLAYS
-Digital
Looks like an actual cyclocomputer. Uses very large fonts to let you capture all the information with just a glance. Uses very little power, good for cyclists who go for long rides.
- Analog
Looks like a car speedometer.
- Map
Displays the speed, time and distance, tracks your ride on a map(Apple standard, hybrid, satellite or Google map) with optional distance markers.
NOTE
- The background operation option must be enabled for the app to keep running in the background
Warning : Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Intuitive and easy

Right from the start this app was easy to use! I’ve been using it for about 5 years and it does everything you need. I highly recommend it!

Cycle Comp!

I have been using this app since 2012 and have every bike ride saved since then! I love the very large display while riding! I am disappointed that it does not link with my Apple Watch because so many of my apps do! Because of this, I have to use Cycle Comp on my phone but also use my Apple Watch to record the ride. The Apple Watch is so inferior but I record so I can close my rings you know!!! I love the way the app is organized by years and months, making it easy to compare one year to another, or one month to another!

Great Bike App

Tried many over price bike apps. This gives you what you want to know in big easy to read display. Just pay for the app and get rid of the ads. You can think me later.

Doesn't Work Properly

Highly frustrating - app stops tracking activity in the middle of my rides or works intermittently even without stopping the ride - tried on several rides and had same experience. Was able to compare to data on a simple Cateye I have on my bike which gave me correct mileage and time. Do not get this app.

BEST speed/distance tracker!!

I’ve tried many MANY apps to find the one that works best for tracking my speed and mileage of an electric scooter and electric skateboard I have. This one BY FAR was the easiest, smoothest working and most useful I was able to find which is why I decided to buy the full “pro” version. The one thing that would make this a 6-star app, was compatibility with Apple Watch to show my speed while riding if I ever happen to have my phone in my pocket/leave my phone at home for the ride. I will very gladly pay more on top of what the app costs to unlock those features! Just an idea!!
