Fantastic - a great addition
I’ve used Cynergy for about 9months now and I’m delighted that they finally have an app, doing everything through their website was tedious. Thanks for doing an app and coming into the 21st century!

Now you can perform most day-to-day personal* AND business banking** tasks via a single app: minimising to login to a computer for Online Banking or calling our Customer Service team, including:
• View and manage personal* AND business bank accounts in the same app with easy switching between the two types
• Login using biometric authentication or a PIN
• Enhanced support for PIN recovery, with options to reset or recover forgotten PINs
• Add and manage payees for future transactions
• Set up scheduled payments for better financial planning
• Support for international payments
• Business banking support! Single (straight-through) and multi-director approval workflows for:
- Domestic business payments
- Internal transfers
- Withdrawals from business accounts
- Creating and managing Standing Orders
• Set up alerts and notifications for activity on your account(s)
• App exclusive! if you have a Fixed Rate Bond, you can set your maturity instructions
• View loan and mortgage accounts (read-only)

* Personal Banking accounts supported by the app: Online Easy Access Account, Online Notice Saver, Online ISA, Fixed and Variable Rate Cash ISA, Fixed Rate Bonds.

TO RUN THE APP, YOU NEED:
• A smartphone or tablet running iOS (see the Information panel on this page for details)
• To be a registered user of Online Banking. Details of how to register for Online Banking are on our website.
• Before logging into the app for the first time, you will need to register it. When registering you will be asked for personal details you supplied when registering for Online Banking.
If you don't have these details, contact our Customer Service team on 0345 850 5555 or +44 (0)20 3375 6422 (if you're calling from outside the UK). Lines are open from 8.00am to 7.00pm weekdays and 9.00am to 5.00pm (UK time ) on weekends and bank holidays. Calls may be recorded for monitoring and training.

Okay
Considering it’s still fairly new, I suppose it’s okay, but I’m constantly having to re-enter my 6-digit PIN if I haven’t used the app for a couple of weeks, which is really frustrating as I use facial recognition. None of my other banking apps are like this.
Most Useless App I have used
I have tried multiple times to register in the App and just get Internal Server Error. Spoke to support and deleted the app and reinstalled but still the same. I was told they would pass it on to the tech team who would get back to me within a week. 2 weeks later and I haven’t heard anything. Just tried again and still the same error. I don’t think I could trust this app even if they finally get it working.
