The Daikin Online Controller application can control and monitor the status of up to 50 air conditioning units (Split and Sky Air) and allows you to (*):

- The status of your air conditioner
- Consult energy consumption graphs
- The power consumption with Econo mode (*)
• Control:
- The operation mode, set temperature, fan speed and powerful mode, air direction and filtering (streamer) function
- Remotely control your unit
- Zone control: control multiple units at once
• Schedule:
- Schedule the set temperature and operation mode with up to 6 actions per day for 7 days
- Enable holiday mode
- View in an intuitive mode

Unstable, not working, not reliable, most of all: no support
Update Juli 2023: moved to the ONECTA-Daikin app, horrible installation because of the guidance in the app but for now works better, finally after 6 years of dreadful cursing at this app.
Update August 2022: if you think it can’t get any worse, it can! The Out of Home doesn’t work at all, contact with the Dutch support office will result in losing faith in humanity; the people in Cappelle ad Ijssel are far from professional. Rude, arrogant, blaming the customer. For all the people thinking about buying Daikin: Look please somewhere else! It is horrible! Update December 27, 2020 -Firmware update of the controller from 3.3.6 to 3.3.9 -Still not working across VLAN’s (even with disabled firewall) -Still horrible Out-of-Home feature -Crashes sometimes Daikin, please get rid of the app-development team; they destroy you’re whole reputation. I’ve never seen, never payed so much money for garbage like this app with wifi-adapters. Update may 22, 2020 -Out of home doesn't work any more. App sees the controller doesn’t work when you turn on or off. -Support Daikin Netherlands: terrible! Un-human. -The AC works good, the IoT is a scam! Have payed 450 euro’s for 3 controllers, without installation, have worked for short time. NEVER EVER DAIKIN AGAIN! Update Jan 4, 2020: If you have a multi AP from Cisco, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, Linksys, etc you’ve got a hell of a job to make the comtroller work. Where all other brands (of wifi equipment) works perfect the Daikin Controller is horrible! -Multi AP’s with same SSID, same network, no firewall; doesn't work! -Out of home feature, huge delay or doesn’t work at all. -NO support from Daikin Update June 30, 2019: When it warm outside the system won’t work, clearly the Daikin server can’t handle the request. Daikin update your server capacity and firmware update the controller to stay stable. All enquipment works perfect on Ubiquiti wifi, Daikin doesn’t. Update June 1, 2019: Looks like the adapters or the App can’t find each other. Multiple times a week you need to reset the whole AC unit by disconnect the power, otherwise the App doesn’t find the unit. If you replace the Daikin controllers to a different IoT Wifi and your phone is not on the same network it doesn’t work. There is a seperate network, the phone can connect that IoT network but devices within can’t access by them self; with an exeption: if the app contact the Wifi Controller it can talk back. Daikin please fix the system and make it stable! This is worse. Update Feb2
Slechte update
Fijn deze update. Gooit gelijk alle units eruit en je moet ze allemaal weer toevoegen.
Misschien handig als de update eerst getest wordt. Heel slecht!!!!! Nog geen een ster waard maar minimaal 1 ster vereist om de recensie te kunnen plaatsen.

Very low quality
Compared to the app of LG or Samsung this is really old school. It deserves a major upgrade! Daikin use to be a very good design and quality brand. It's not like this at the moment. Hope they fix it soon!

Werkt niet meer.
De app heeft bij ons altijd (redelijk) gewerkt, maar helaas nu niet meer.
In huis, als ik ver bonden ben met de WiFi dan werkt de app wel, maar buitenshuis als je de
“niet thuis“ knop moet gebruiken, krijgt hij geen verbinding meer.
Heb speciaal een WiFi ontvangen in laten bouwen voor de app 😩😫😤

App is unreliable
The unit itself is working fine but I cannot say the same about the app. Even when it shows connected it does not deliver the commands to the device. Only works occasionally. How come that there are no bug fixes for a whole year when the overall rating is this bad? I paid extra for the remote control and it is not working. Ridiculous how they don’t care about their users. There are so many remote controlled devices and they all work fine, so it is definitely not impossible unless Daikin does not care at all…
