This is an excellent piece which teaches, rebukes and uplifts any Christian who seeks God earnestly. The book has always revived my soul!

Daily devotional

A great way to start, & finish, your day. Doesn’t take overlong but gives something to reflect on during your day. Excellent teaching always by Spurgeon of course.

A true man of God

Spurgeon focuses all his words on scripture so that you know he is really speaking from a place of faith and commitment to trusting in God. He has a wonderful way of opening up passages in the Bible that you may have read many times and helping you see them in a deeper light. As he says we are to ponder on the word of God and meditate on it. He has certainly helped me do that through the challenges of Covid and I continue to pray that he helps me focus on the word of God and move forward in faith day by day.

A great way to start the new year

It’s a new year A great time to be serious in our faith. I find Spurgeon easy to read and ponder on the memory verse for the day I urge everyone to give it a try
