DailyBeat HRV provides you with an accurate assessment of your overall health and resilience.
IMPORTANT: DailyBeat HRV requires external hardware:
A tested Bluetooth Low Energy Heart Rate Monitor chest strap, supported hand held or patch. While other manufacturers wrist worn devices work well for heart rate, their wrist worn heart rate monitors are not accurate enough for HRV and so are not supported. The iWatch is not supported.
•Please visit https://www.sweetwaterhrv.com/healthsensors.shtml for a list of compatible Heart Rate Monitors devices.
DailyBeat HRV can be used with devices running IOS 12 or later: iPhone 5S and newer, iPad Air and newer, iPad Mini 2 and newer.
Our clinical grade algorithms measure Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and provide you with intuitive and easy to understand health status.
When tracking your health, we recommend doing regular sessions – daily, weekly or monthly depending upon your goals.
If you are trying to create new habits, we recommend a daily reading so that you will know your willpower reserve for the day and can plan accordingly. Research shows that HRV is correlated with willpower. So stay on track by understanding Willpower and HRV.
If you are keeping an eye on your overall health, do a session once a week or once a month! What is important is to choose a schedule that you can stick with!
Since HRV has a natural 24 hour variation, try to do you sessions at the same time of the day. Otherwise you will be comparing apples to oranges. We recommend first thing in the morning before you eat or have coffee/tea.

Excellent addition for monitoring fitness and good health
I have been using SweetBeat (the other excellent app for monitoring workouts fitness) for many years.
DailyBeat uses the same engine but presents the data in a simplified way and with added interesting, fun, and highly visual formats. It is also very easy to use and interpret.
The app also takes age into account which is very useful.
I love the recommendations it makes after taking a reading and the helpful and positive suggestions about tackling the day ahead.
You can use the upload option to the server (it's all free) so you can download the data to your iPad, or when changing iPhones, so you never lose the data when buying new phones or tablets.
You can also import the readings from your SweatBeat sessions.
I am enjoying this app and it has become part of my morning HRV and fitness tests.
The support is second to none--great team.
