DailyCost － Expense Tracker

I opened the version 1.9.7 today, after having used it yesterday. The UI came up with 12/-01 (negative the first of December), and all entries made since the broken 1.9.6 update (entered after I updated to 1.9.7) are GONE. This is the SECOND dataloss due to broken application in a month. What is the QA process here? If it compiles, ship it? Just use Numbers in iCloud. You won't lose your data.

Great expense tracking app especially for cash. Simple but well designed UI which is easy to use. Love it!

This could be a great little app if only it was not so rigid. Categories are fixed - so you have to scroll by categories you will never use and there’s no way to create or rename categories that make sense to you. Also, only one part of the world uses the illogical month-day-year format. There could at least be an option for day-month and written as well as month number. In all, this app highlights one of the big problems with Apple apps - not being able to thoroughly test drive it get a full list of features before having to pay for something that falls short.

Love this app. My partner and I have used it to track all our spending for two years and it has really helped us understand how we spend our money. One suggestion though - we would love to have a “household” account so that we could combine our totals

And add more categories.

This is so easy to use It would be great to have a budget option to line up costs per month and per year :) Love it !!

I like this little app. Today I decided to purchase Premium for one year. Won't sync and says I have used up cloud storage. Was offered more cloud storage with premium. No addition categories available as promised with Premium. So frustrating. Really really ripped off.

This is deceptively simple to use, as it is loaded with powerful features to make your budget tracking a joy to stick with. I have tried a LOT of budgeting apps and ultimately settled for this one. It is also one of the most visually appealing budgeting apps I have come across - a more comprehensive tutorial option would be nice ... but definitely try this out. Like others, I'm not sure about the annual subscription BUT if it maintains this app with regular updates and iOS tweaks ... then likely worth it!

Exactly the simple and intuitive app I was looking for! Just need a few improvements to be perfect: 1) like the other reviewers I'd like the option to personalize categories 2) date navigation is awkward, much flipping to do to enter a post dated payment. While its very intuitive, it would be nice to have a short list of instructions - maybe some of the things I find awkward can be done and I don't know how? Like how to enter the description for a purchase! :(
