I’ve been using DashTimer for well over a year now and it’s been nothing but a great experience! The convenience of the app and the constant updates to better the users experience makes it an excellent app to use for any sort of workout. The heavy focus on the track and field related features is really helpful as no other apps provide features like the ones DashTimer has. DashTimer is a must use app!
If you like fitness, you’ll love dashtimer. This is by far the best stopwatch app I’ve used to date.
Had this App for a while now. Great to use for training. Nice, clean interface on the watch. Has not crashed since I had it. Recommend it to anyone who wants to track their workouts.
A must have for people who take their running / HIIT seriously !
I’ve been using Dash Timer for about 6 months now and I can say with absolute confidence that it’s the best fitness app I’ve ever used. Every other app(Including Apple Fitness) was always missing a key feature, and switching to a new app just forced me to make trade offs between features. Not Dash Timer. The integration of the stopwatch within a workout has helped me immensely in Track & Field when it comes to logging times for different sets entirely independent of the elapsed workout timer. Timed Haptics is one of my favorites during workouts and races, which I use to help set target 400 times that Dash Timer will vibrate at during 800s, 1600s, and 3200s. As a cross-country runner, auto-segments are a nice touch for specific interval workouts, and the interface is great to look at during runs; Highly visible and simple to interpret. The rest of the general interface is intuitive and well-designed. Including changing any desired settings like timed haptics or auto segments. Dash Timer supports indoor running as well, which I’ve found to be shockingly accurate compared to Apple Fitness. As a frequent biker, I use Dash Timer on tours as well. The great interface comes in handy during that too. Highly, Highly recommend if you’ve been searching for “that one app” forever. I think this is the one!
Constantly ran on my watch. Could not disable. Just not that into fitness.
This app is perfect for not only distance running, but works great for track workouts as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get a simpler more efficient way to track their workouts.
This app finally brings all of the features I expect from a GPS stopwatch. First off, I’ve tried many alternatives and haven’t found an Apple Watch app that makes taking splits a good and normal experience. This app makes it as easy as a stopwatch - I love how you have the choice between tapping part of the screen, swiping up, or using the physical buttons (my preference) to take a split at any time. In my opinion as a cross country/track runner, this is a must-have for a stopwatch to be able to track various workout splits and I was very frustrated with many other apps not even having the ability to take splits. Beyond that, the app is very reliable, easy to use, customizable, you don’t need to carry your phone for it to work, and it saves all the data well to Apple Health. I haven’t seen any other app that has all of these things in one. On top of that, it is really built for a competitive runner and has some really cool little features such as timed haptics and a “starting pistol”. This is about as good as it gets for an Apple Watch app for competitive runners, and I’m sure there will be even more nice features coming as the app grows!
I am a distance runner in high school. For about a year and a half I used the Nike running feature that watch had given me when I bought it. Unfortunately it wasn’t able to correctly clock in miles or allow me to take splits and no other app was working as well as the Nike one. Dash Timer has done all of those things in the 3 weeks I have used the app, allowing me to know how many miles I have ran during a track workout as well as know my splits for the workout. This is the best app I’ve used for running and highly recommend. Also, after a week of using Dash Timer I broke my school record for the 5k, almost positive that is correlation. I guess you’ll have to try it for yourself!
