Edit: beta version is now adjusted to ultra watch, so you'll have to wait for it to become GA, or ask the support to get you in the beta.
The only thing that now bothers me is that I can't change the color of the waves on the map, and they getting obscured by the color of the sea.
Bug: you didn't adjusted your app for ultra watch! On slow sensitivity it measured something like 28 waves when there was really like 6-7 maybe. Then when I set it to high sensitivity it measured 14 when there was something like 5-6. This huge gap never happened to me in all my 3 years with this app and Apple Watch (series 3,4,5). So it seems ultra watch is too sensitive for the app and you must adjust the app accordingly. I'm stopping my subscription till you fix this!
Grate surf buddy
Really enjoy useing this app when surfing as it is giving you so many inputs on your sessions afterwards.
The only feature worth improvement is the “fake session “ - this app open itself during the day to day, and recorded as if you are surfing- it would be cool if it could either detect that this is not a session in water or create some double confirmation to launch session

I can’t delete the review, so I just update the rating since the developer says these issues were fixed in newer versions.

First time starting tracking must be done with a phone in hand, 'cause only then it will ask for location permission. If phone not around the watch app gets stuck.
When starting a session the water lock must be activated manually, unlike the open water activity.
When the battery finished and the watch went to power saving, the data wasn't available later.
In small waves session no data appears except the time, and it didn't add any sport activity to my log.
Adding surfboard to you quiver will ask you each time when you start which board you use, even if there is one.
This is my overall experience of 4 attempts with zero results.
