Does not work with Apple Watch Ultra
Does not work with Apple Watch Ultra. 90% of waves recorded are fake. Apparently can regularly surf across roads, up hills, out to sea (and back again). Seems to work ok with Apple Watch SE which has few phantom waves.

It would be good to have a social sharing function
Doesn’t work with Apple Watch 7
Been using this app for months on new Apple Watch 7 but every time I paddle it measures as a wave ridden. I’ve been working with developers for months but still no fix
Faulty with privacy issues
I got this app and paid for a subscription primarily to add the tide and other weather complications to my watch face. Those were great but my watch now constantly starts a surf workout inadvertently and writes the data to Apple Health / Fitness. It did this even after turning write permissions for this app off in privacy. The fake workouts (eg a 15-hour surf, partly in your sleep) blow out your fitness rings and awards etc. Its impossible to fully back out the health data and incorrect awards, which means you will have inaccurate long term trends and parts of the Apple fitness rewards scheme are now impractical to meet.

I like the app, I will say. Can be buggy, not all complications work, but Overall nice app. I will also say, a subscription based model for this product is a straight up grift. This is pure greed. You get no personalised content, no feedback. Needs to change to a one time payment or I will drop it
The coolest Apple Watch complications
Very awesome app. I love living next to the surf and having this Apple Watch face on my wrist is awesome.

Epic app
Great app. Worked really well when you adjust the wave speed and get used to that for your surfing. It misses the odd small wave when on a beach but never misses a beat on a point break. Love it and can’t wait for this to keep evolving to the point when it tells me I am in the take off position
