Daymap Mobile

Daymap helps out a lot when I’m in class I just have to go onto my laptop and check Daymap I stay logged in on the mobile app. I love Daymap.

This app is laid out stupidly! Nothing loads, the quality is bad and I’m connected to the internet with 4 bars! It won’t load and the messages won’t send.

This app is stuck in the dark ages. It is one of the most dysfunctional and clunky school information portals I have ever had to use. Reading all the reviews validated my opinion and gave me a chuckle because if you didn’t laugh you would curl up in the foetal position and rock forever more after using it!!

As a parent using this app, it’s a very poor design for a critical communication tool with the school. In using the messaging feature it quite often “hides” the “New message” button by scrolling it off the screen. When trying to drag it back down to press the button it snaps back off the screen. The display layout doesn’t respect text properly with details like student id or “code” overwriting group details. Feel this entire app is an afterthought to tick a box for schools when purchasing an SMS. With mobile being the predominant engagement tool this should be the primary development not just using a poor re-rendering of the web page.

I hate this app and everything about it and makes me wanna kill myself every time I open it. My old school used SEQTA and it was 1000x easier to use. Plus it tells my parents when I skip which isn’t cool

I haven’t been able to log in to my youngest child school, but can for my eldest (at different schools).

Daymap is the worst pile of steaming tech turd ever heaped upon students. Navigation is the worst part of it. There are so many hidden nooks and crannies that have only one obscure way to find them that students can easily miss important information and fail to submit work as a result. Loop Software should be ashamed for making so many students’ lives stressful and miserable.

On the app you have no choice to use the computer mode while on the web you can. In computer mode it makes everything so much easier than the mobile mode. I recommend the web over app
