Published by: CereScape Pty

Description

Distance sounding app for vision-impaired individuals. Requires dual camera iPhone (ie iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus, X, XS, XS Max and later). Converts images into depth maps and musical tones (and vibration haptic feedback if less than 2 meters) so that sounds or vibrations can be used to judge indoor or outdoor distances. Designed to be used in conjunction with other usual aids such as sticks but not as a replacement. Uses Siri or VoiceOver to read distances and help. Compatible with VoiceOver. Customizable musical sounds and tone playing speed. Thanks to Apple engineers for providing the disparity depth maps.
