Good game just glitches out to much and closes down when you try to get into a battle
I want to love this game, but there is too much happening all the time to actually enjoy any aspect outside of combat. I am constantly bombarded by ! messages to go to new pages instead of letting me decide. There is a server-wide chat that you can't turn off, and there is pressure to be active on Discord the second you join any player League. I enjoy leveling up my base and characters and fighting battles. I don't need 6 trillion messages telling me to be part of a mobile gaming community. I enjoy the storyline a lot. I just wish I could play the game and follow the story without having to be involved with other players so heavily. Finally, I prefer it when the characters call me by my username over Commander.
I’m sorry about my bad review. The game is great. Incredible graphics and there’s even voice overs.
If you added achievements to earn skins for characters that’s free to play you guys will climb great lengths in player base and app star ranks and ratings great game overall tho 🔥🤝🙏🏻
The early and mid game is fun. Collecting heroes, fighting stuff, but the end game just shoves the characters you work to build into ships and then it’s a ship fighting game. Also, support is ridiculous, opting to lose customers than to provide a pittance to the customer for a screw up on their end.
DC Legion has potential, but it buries any fun under endless clicking, recycled dialogue, and constant ads. The grind is absurd. On the crisis map you might earn 7,800 units for a task, but you need 130,000 to craft at some levels. That means repeating the same chore about 17 times for just one craft. Earlier tasks are worse. You’ll see the same lines recycled again and again. I can understand a prompt showing up a few times in case someone skipped past it, but when you’ve read the same sentence over a hundred times in a month just to scrape together 400 units toward a 2 million requirement, that’s not gameplay. That’s disrespect for players’ time. Strategic play is blocked by friction. If you want to counter an enemy’s specialties, you cannot just click on a character’s profile during team selection. Instead, you have to leave the fight setup, dig through menus, and memorize the abilities of 30-plus characters before battles that only last a minute. Good strategy games either let you build a core team or make it easy to reference character info. This system forces tedious clicking instead of smart play. Yes, there are story elements, but they are delivered at a snail’s pace. Waiting a week for a tiny slice of narrative feels like waiting for a TV episode, only to get less than a comic panel of payoff. If the goal is to build an addictive loop, it works. If the goal is to make a good game, it fails. Respect players with meaningful rewards, less recycled text, and easier access to strategy tools. Until then, if you want a DC story fix, skip this game. You will get far more satisfaction from watching a DC show or movie than you ever will from this grind.
The game is fun and the artwork and animations are very well done, as are the story moments. Unfortunately, the game has several very big problems they designed themselves into that are not easily recoverable. 1) Funplus is only interested in taking your money. They have objectively predatory marketing practices that Apple should review. They would not even refund $10 in order to keep my business and make a lot more than that over time. 2) Every single new hero since launch is “mythic” which destroys several other game modes and means you have to pour more money in to get heroes starred up. 3) Star power is the only thing that really matters so if you are not going to throw buckets of money at the game you will never actually advance anything. 4) They tell you to build synergy with your heroes: Bat Family, Dark Justice League, etc… to boost your team power but it is impossible. They rotate a new (always) mythic hero in every 2 weeks. They tend to group them by Justice League, Arkham, etc…but being able to build a viable team with that group cannot be done unless you pour goofy amounts of cash into anvils to raise their star power. You miss out, it will be *months* before your fave group comes around again for another boost. 5) Once you hit max level, you pour tons of resources very slowly into continuing to improve. This model, in all areas of advancement, is also not sustainable. In order to add new levels, they would have to admit they screwed up basic game development and credit back the enormous resources players are paying in right now to bide their time until new content is available. 6) The customer support responses are very prettily worded and sound really nice, but do not be fooled by this. Many players are experiencing all these problems and have complained and Funplus has done nothing to even admit they have big problems. Six *major* and not easily resolvable issues. Go play it! It’s fun. Give them no money and be prepared to leave and move on in a couple months at best.
This game is legitimately just bad. Everything is locked behind a paywall. There’s no skill involved. The only enjoyable mode, the darkest time line, is also broken and completely unfair. RNG screws me every single time, and I know it’s not just me because there’s multiple subreddits on this.
Ada showed a tower defense with upgradable characters. Instead I get a DC reskin of Fallout Shelter. Probably not a bad game but definitely not what I was sold. Uninstalled after 20 mins of playing.
