Disgraceful. To think DC allows their IPs to be handled like this.

This is more of a casino machine than an actual game. And to think this is targeted to children and teenagers using the DC name and properties is a showcase of how absolutely unethical greed and the chase for maximum profits at whatever costs topples any sense of honor and brand reputation. How do the developers of this casino machines that try to force and exploit addiction sleep well at night? And how can DC allow this as well? You are forced to play against Batman very early on, in example. And as a player the real only way to win is to spend real money. You are pushing children and teenagers to pay real money to basically kill Batman in this absurd game. It’s just all so bizarre.

Fun but flawed

This game is enjoyable, but it has several flaws. It glitches periodically, with characters overlapping one another in the training section. Sometimes it just stops. It doesn’t let you work for a character, it’s random drop, and you can spend days or weeks trying to get a new character only to receive one you already have multiple times over and over again. It also does not scale challenges. I have a team with combined power of over 100,000 and cannot defeat Dailey challenges or the ones that randomly pop up for different characters. For example, my team can breeze through 8 stages, hit level 9 and not be able to move on because it’s is literally impossible to beat. It’s very frustrating. Also, there are characters I’d love to get but the random drop aspects makes the work it takes just to get a NEW character rather than a SPECIFIC one not seem worthwhile. It is Sisyphean in nature. You get close but are rarely lucky enough to succeed. Could be worse, but could be a lot better. It’s worth killing some time but not devoting any lengthy attention to.

The recent update seems to have removed ads to be able to continue with Assault, Missions, and the Guild. Unfortunately, that makes this game seem a bit greedy, now, as you’re forced to spend gems to continue on and then when you run out of those you’d have to pay real money for more gems. All of the items are already expensive enough, this game I’m sure brings in plenty of revenue. Might not be playing this game much longer. Not to mention the amount of times I’ve spent real money and not received the items, which happens more often than not. Hate it when good games get too greedy, takes the fun right out of it.

What get rid of ads? Getting gear above tier 9 is RIDICULOUSLY time-consuming and having ads to help obtain legendary material capsules was very helpful. Removing them? Not a fan and makes me question how committed I am to playing this game.
