I gave 4/5 stars because...
I like this app, it is lightweight to set deadlines. But it doesn’t necessarily provide much more than Apples Reminder app. I gave 4/5 stars because I don’t want it to fall down in any App Store Ranking. I would’ve given less otherwise. But I see potential, and I‘d like to share a few thoughts for the developer: When having a deadline it is important to work on something until this date finally hits. Otherwise it’s no deadline but a reminder. So there have to be two important features: 1. Remind me of working on my deadline, on a set intervall. Like give me an alarm daily that my deadline is coming in xx days. 2. Make me feel like I did work on my task. Many apps fail in this very important feature. Just clicking a button, getting a sound and a tactile feedback isn’t the same like actually crossing something with a pen on your calendar. A lot of people are comfortable with setting crosses or circles on a calendar or whiteboard for each day. Implement a small calendar (like a swiftui slide-up sheet) where you can cross your days on which you worked for the task. Other apps like Streaks are having that implemented but they are outdated in UI usability. The app could be what is really missing in the app store at the moment, but just now it isn’t.
