"Decibel X" is one of very few noise meter apps on the market that has highly reliable, pre-calibrated measurements and supports dBA, dBC. It turns your iOS device into a professional sound level meter, precisely measures the sound pressure level (SPL) all around you. - Please do not expect a quiet room reading will be 0 dBA. The range 30-130 dBA is the standard usable range and an average quiet room will be about 30 dBA.
- Although all devices are pre-calibrated, custom calibration is suggested for serious purposes requiring higher precision and accuracy. You will need a real external device or calibrated sound meter as a reference, then adjust the trimming calibration until the reading matches with the reference.

Camera crashes
I love this app I did some research and reading reviews so I got this app someone says the camera crashes or takes him out and development says it’s fixed but unfortunately is not . I got this app cause of of the cam so I can save the pictures for clients and I can’t unfortunately. Pls fix the camera crash asap

Annoying pop ups
Even though I paid for it, it still constantly shows me the pop up to go and rate it. So I’m rating it one star since paid app shouldn’t be constantly interrupting workflow to show pop ups multiple times a day. Just stick with the free version since it’s equally annoying.
Averaging
How are the averages calculated? In the Z weighting if each level in the Xcel is of equal time duration then it should be a simple average equation of adding the dBZ and dividing by the total number of recordings. The octave band is poor in that the frequencies and SPL are difficult to read. More explanations required.
Modern Dark Theme Causes Crash
Excellent and fun utility. Pro version allows saving recordings. But changing from classic theme to modern dark theme just crashes the app. Will give it 5 stars when that is fixed.
