5.39am very noisy woke me up with headache
Great device
I absolutely love decibel x! It is my go to app for everything and it is always there for me when in strife!
I am skeptical about how accurate the dB reading is with this app on an iPhone. The comparison app I use is the sound meter app on the galaxy s23 ultra. For the same room under same conditions this app reads up to 4dB lower than the sound meter app. That’s a massive difference. Is there an explanation for this? Or is the sensitivity of the device much better in the Samsung? In which case iPhone readings can only be a guideline and not a true indicator of the dB levels.
Membership got paid in instance without any time reflect as my Apple Pay via Face ID is open
Greedy. $70 per year for something you’d use once or twice. Perhaps a yearly subscription of $10 is more reasonable
Great to use for baby to make sure the white noise in his room isn’t too loud.
Brilliant. Love the descriptions of the sound level. I notice there’s not one saying ‘demolition next door’. It would explain their walls shaking Hahaa
I downloaded this app today (26/1/2024), as an Architect in Australia, I am very impressed with the sound level reading sensitivity on my iPhone Pro Max 13. The readings were taken of a neighbours swimming poll filter pump to check noise level governance in regard to compliance on Local Council and Government requirements. The highest reading was 76dB compared with the maximum permissible of 35 dB . This result encourages my approach to the Local Council to have them test with a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) Meter or a Decibel (dB) Meter to receive the authorised sound, sufficient to require our neighbour to acoustically sound attenuate the pool pump housing, for our, and other neighbours comfortable living. My congratulations to the developers of this app for designing, for public use, as a very valuable tool to limit noice and sound pollution. A brilliant app. Bruce Robinson
