Description

Look, kid. You're not even a contender. You're a nobody. A total long shot. The champ is a stone cold killer. As big as an ox. Stronger than oak. But you got a lot of heart, kid.
And Mickey loves you.
Deck 'Em! is a boxing card game. Try and survive twelve rounds with the undisputed champion of the world, and you'll be a winner in my books, kid.
Much like solitaire, the object of the game, much like many card games, is simply to play and strategize. Each fight is different. Sometimes you'll win. Sometimes you'll lose.

Highlights include:
• Endlessly replayable
• Incredible art
• Simplified gameplay

Deck 'Em! Reviews

Would be fun but….

As a lot of other people are saying. You will lose regardless of how you play. The math is in favor of the computer. I really want to enjoy this game. But out of all the games I have played, I have yet to win one game. Don’t take any form of skill. Just basic math and the computer always wins. I may have like 10 health and all the give you is a 3 block and the rest is the champ at like 13 and the other is at 11 or something. Really want to enjoy it but it’s impossible to really win.

Deck ‘Em! is exactly what it says on the box. It’s a solitaire style game in you are pitted against a randomly shuffled deck of cards and are required to puzzle out a solution to survive 12 turns. This is done by collecting offensive and defensive cards and using them against randomly drawn opponent cards of various difficulties. The concept is done very well and is surrounded by a beautiful cartoonish art style. Unfortunately the game suffers from a lack of depth. There is only one deck and winning and loosing can sometime feel like a roll of the dice than careful execution of a plan or build. It would have been really interesting to see more “deck builder” elements where the player can edit the deck to change differently or add variety to attacks. Or perhaps having different opponent decks to choose from. Ultimately this game feels like a fantastic concept or first look at an idea. I highly recommend you give it a try (Its free with an option to tip the dev) and see how you like it. I look forward for a Deck ‘Em 2 or whatever comes next from this developer!

First off I really like the game it’s a nice game to pass the time and just fun to play. Only thing I would change is what do you do with that coins in the game? You can bet on your fight and win coins but you can’t do anything with them. It would also be nice to have a little more cards to use you only have like 10 cards you can use and so it would be nice to have more. I really enjoy the game I would recommend it👍👍

Good game. A few problems

Honestly, I love this game. I have got past level 12 (just to tell everyone, this game is possible to win) it has a great artsyle, great designs, and great gameplay. It’s a very simple game. It does have a few issues though. Sometimes the cards are insanely unbalanced towards the player. Like sometimes there will be a 14 level champ card, and the only thing you have is a 3/7 block. There are not enough punch cards in the deck. Also, I feel like when there is only one card left on the enemy/item side, it should reset and restore the 3 cards. If that made no sense (it didn’t) just play card crawl and you will get what I mean. Other than those problems, this is a really good game. I would totally recommend getting it

A great quick-play game

Excellent concept for running through a deck of cards as actions during boxing match rounds. Nice visual style and controls. Would love to see additional options if possible such as character upgrades or other things to spend winning money on, or a tournament mode of some kind.

I like it

No Skill Involved

Boxing Solitaire. Simple concept yea? Well, its also a broken one. 1 out of 3 times, you will lose. Not because you mess up, but because the game does. It does not matter if you make the perfect plays. You will lose. Mathematically, there are situations where you literally cannot win. Do not bet your in game money. I've literally lost round 2 bc of luck. I even put a calculator on this game, and lost, 1 of 3 times. This isnt a game. There is no skill. Its just luck. Nothing to it. Art is good though
