Drone controls delayed

When I am connecting my phone to the camera, I use the original remote to control the drone. Then the issue starts when I start flying, the drone feels slightly delayed when I try to control using the transmitter. I turn the transmitter and Deerc d40 both off, and yet the delay is back. I disconnect my phone from the drone and the delay is fixed. Why does this delay happen?
