I love the TD genre and have for many years. I’ve played more TD games than most, and so I like to think I’m pretty good at them.
This game is very well done, and stands out against others in the genre for some great reasons;
First, this game is an actual challenge. But not in a ‘Dark Souls’ kind of way - in a.. tweaking and testing kind of way. As you progress through waves your builds are saved so when you lose you can go back to whichever wave save point you wish and pick up from there. This really allows you to fine-tune your builds.
Next, it has upto 8x speed. You can switch between speeds as often as you want very easily, AND can completely pause the game to further look into what is happening at exact moments.
Another fantastic element of this game is having to take into account land, sea, and air enemies. Setting priorities for your ‘towers’, and even switching off which ever enemies you don’t want it to attack at all. This is great for managing coastlines between air and sea enemies.
The placement of towers is based on a dynamic grid. It feels very free while holding true to the TD origins.
There is lots more to love about this game. If you’re into the TD genre, this is well worth the price.

Pretty much perfect, classic, simple, never boring, always playable. I’ve been playing it pretty much since the beginning of time and it never fails to fill a dead spot in my week. Appreciate the developers hard work.

Great to see we can still purchase a game that is enjoyable and playable without the greedy cash grab, pay to win rubbish that the majority of iPad games have become. This is everything that 2 was with more, and it is more fun! Tried the free version first, quickly deleted it and got the ultra - no regrets!
Freezes on the third map, everytime
The game halts in the third map and doesn’t let you continue, quite inconvenient...
