Dehancer is far from perfect. The user experience isn't great, and the pricing is eye-watering. However, the results are absolutely outstanding, with unmatched control, great presets, and perfect effects. It handles video exceptionally well. I just love the look of everything that comes out of this app. With VSCO now borderline unusable, Dehancer is perhaps the only option. Expensive? Yes. Worth the money? Well, many hobbies are expensive.
this is just too expensive for a phone app. I really hope they can lower the one time purchase price so this great tool can be available for the masses. If they do it like procreate for a one time purchase this will sell like crazy! I’m sure it will!
I use Dehancer professionally but it's too expensive on iOS. The permanent license needs to be about 1/5 if the price. At this price point it's a scam.
Have been using DaVinci before for editing videos and now to see this possibility on my phone as well is amazing. It was a bit buggy when you could only edit photos but with the video editing update. A lot of that has now changed. Have not had any issues with it. Loving it and it’s my “go to” editing app on my phone now!! @glidephotos
Had to re-install a couple of times because the profiles download screen just froze. Beware you need a subscription which is crazy expensive at 999sek per year. That is simply too much money. I’d be ready to spend 1500sek on a one time purchase and buy updates for a couple hundred. I don’t understand how these people sleep at night. What a rip off!
For the price this app is horrible. It keeps getting worse. Everytime i try to save a photo the app shuts down.
I am not gonna lie. I already love Dehancer as a desktop app, but sometimes I’m out and about and would like to edit on my phone and get something out quickly. This really fill that void. It is amazing app with all the attributes I find the desktop program. it is a little bit of a challenge on a smaller phone screen and must be much better on an iPad, but that’s the only downside. Well worth it in my opinion.
Edited review: leaving my original review for reference, but I just found a workaround that solved my issue. Exporting the original clip at 60fps from the app I used to edit it fixed the issue (even though the original footage was shot at 30fps) No idea if the problem is on Dehancer’s end or the other editing app, but yeah, seems to be resolved. Original review: I just spent half an hour trying to export a simple 10 second clip; a 1080p, 30fps video that I recorded on my Sony a7iv and cut together in a different video editing app. No matter what I do, it will not play back at the correct frame rate and worse, it will not export at the correct frame rate either. I tried simply importing the clip into Dehancer and exporting it without applying any adjustments and it rendered it at 20fps. Applying a simple filter causes the rendered frame rate to drop to 15fps. What’s more frustrating is that it’ll play and export any other 4k video without issues, but a 1080p one appears to be too much if its not straight out of camera
