LOADED with features
This isn't the cheapest plugin on iOS, especially considering that $20 will unlock dozens of amps/effects inside many of the premium guitar apps. But consider the following: (1) The Delay3000 sounds great and can cover the features of several other delay apps, combined; (2) The GUI is no-frills and easy to navigate; (3) The desktop (VST) version of this plugin costs several times more for the same features; and (4) It can be used with guitars, synths, drum machines, and basically any AUv3 music app. The Delay3000 is heavily inspired by the Roland SDE-3000, a rack delay unit from the 1980's that I've never used. But upon closer inspection, Nembrini has packed this AUv3 plugin with modern features. The delay can be in milliseconds or synced to BPM, and then arranged in a variety of patterns. (Though, admittedly, I wish there were better explanation as to what the patterns are apart from trial-and-error). Modulation (either chorus or tremolo) can be applied to the repeats, as can a ducking effect where the repeats "dim" in volume during "busier" playing stretches. You also get a lot of control over the color and texture of repeats. There are options to add tube saturation (Grit) or soften the attack (Smear). Finally, there are a series of filter settings, which are a bit over my head, but can be used to create sweeping effects in the repeats. I still need to experiment with this app to unlock its full potential, but if you have a need for a wide variety of delay options to compliment your playing, it's hard to imagine being disappointed with the Delay3000.
