Helps with simple songwriting and has a variety of options although you have to pay for certain benefits but pretty good overall
Brilliant for songwriting
Very clever how this app breaks down the elements of songwriting and provides the flexibility to be creative. Super handy being able to map out drum loops and instruments to bring an idea to life quickly. As a new app I have come across a minor bug or two, but the team have been very responsive. You can capture an idea with basic headphones, plus I’ve discovered I can record with my condenser microphone and audio interface if I want better quality vocal take. I’m all in👌

Wanting Customer support…
Good app however can be a bit finicky to use. Hi Customer Support, I’m having trouble not able to rearrange my structure… I’ve already made the chord progressions for verses, chorus and bridge but wanted to add an intro for 4 bars at the start. I can’t seem to be able to add a new chord progression section (I want to also add a melodic riff to it) and then drag it to the top of the song, it only stays down the bottom after the final chorus. I will have to delete the whole structure and start again just to make sure the intro will be at the start of the song - this is frustrating as I’ve already typed in all my lyrics. Also, it would be so great if this app could be available for use on slightly older Mac computers. Typing would be way easier on a computer. I have a 2017 iMac and 2018 MacBook Air and they don’t support the app.
