Great earbuds bad app
App keeps signing out everyday. Also, the app takes forever to connect to the earbuds even though the phone is already connected to earbuds. Disappointing.

Please stop asking for my age and gender every single time I open the app. Just keep me logged in.
They never update the app or the firmware for the PerL Pros.
This app is horrible!!! They want you to agree to allowing third parties to have access to your information to even use this app. I think that’s way too personal just to use some earbuds. Needless to say I will be sending them back, and buying a different pair of earbuds.
Many years of experience with a variety of high performance audio gear and headphones. I am satisfied with the overall sound quality but also agree on on the weakness of app as pointed out in other reviews. However there is one other thing that I suspect is because of a mismatch in what the iPhone software thinks the headphone volume is versus actual sound being produced. I am getting constant IOS reminders that the headphones levels are too loud for safe listening. In reality the volume is set to maximum just to be able to get a moderately loud enough listening level.
One of the best sound in the marked but the app doesn’t help. No manual adjustment for noise cancellation or transparency mode, no case battery level and the UI looks it was made by a rookie developer.
Can not use app for my PERL Pros because I need to create a Denon account. I need to provide Denon my email to use their earbuds properly. Just silly. I’m gonna sell the Denons and go back to my Bose. Pity, I was excited about them. I have Jabra, Bose and Sennheiser. For none of these do you need to create an account just to use the app. Hard pass.
Can’t even login. Get error when trying to create account
Just picked up these earbuds today. I was extremely excited to try out these new headphones and the personalized setup feature. Unfortunately the headphones always disconnect before the test is complete, and it’s always at the same step. I made sure the headphones had full battery, were connected and worked before starting the test and made sure I was in a silent room. The headphones always disconnect when the test try’s to play music to see how my ears are. It just announces that it will now play music then the screen goes blank. After sitting for around 30 seconds I get a notification stating “Error, Lost Bluetooth connection to device.” All of the other functions of the app work fine with no issue at all. But one of the main selling points for these earbuds is having issues. Hopefully this issue will be resolved so I don’t feel like I waisted a decent chunk of change on earbuds.
The app walks you through set up with little fuss. Adaptive personalized sound is calibrated in 2 minutes. I love my headphones!!
