Description

The knowledge series 'DENSO Technology' explains technologies in the automotive industry. The first topic is "Air conditioning". The functioning of current air conditioning systems had to be enhanced for future electric cars, as the use of an air conditioning system, particularly for heating, drastically reduces the range of an electric car. The app explains through text, graphics and animations how an air conditioning system works and how the use of a heat pump can reduce the energy needed for heating and cooling by 2/3. The system is already in limited mass production and started being installed in vehicles in 2012.
