Depression Test

If you expect for an app that could seek to your sanity and take a peek to your deepest heart to find whether you're depressed or not; it's definitely not the one you're looking for. it's just like a website test you found on support center.

I like the app because it has reasonable question and scales for the app and recommands good sites to seek help but later I realized I can't delete it 😭

It’s good because it gives you a variety of questions that give you an honest answer while throughout the test your are being asked if you need a doctor which is very comforting.

At the end of the survey you are offered a link to "Better Help", just search on YouTube to see what sort of awful service it is.

This app actually tells me that if I’m need help or not

Helped me let go of my feelings and talk about my life and how much it impacted my mental health and decision.

I’m profoundly depressed. Took the included test. It agreed. Then it started telling me why CBT was the answer and gave me a hypothetical example of someone thinking the wrong way. In which way? It wanted me to choose how the imaginary person was wrong. Then it explained why my answer was wrong. This is precisely what you do not do with depressed people. If you think Bobby McFerrin is a life coach, this app might work for you. But if you actually need this kind of help, find another app. Didactic, patronizing, and preening all at once? Not the best vibe for me.

this test is not helpful and confusing because it only gives the options “not at all” and “several days” and then more frequently than that. so there is not anything between “not at all” and “several days.” i only had trouble sleeping one night. so how can i answer these questions?
