Works as expected for $20 can’t complain. Super easy to connect to phone and worked right away.

If I could give zero I would you can’t connect sometimes and when you do it says network disconnect I will never ever use this again

I really liked this product. However, it keeps saying it is not connected to the Internet, even though I can see DEPSTECH in my Wifi list. Everything comes on, but it will not connect so that I can see video on my screen.

I tried a bunch of apps but none allowed an arbitrary SSID - they were targeting specific manufacturers/models. I have no ability to change settings, like adjusting the LED strength, but at least I can see the default view.

As the title suggests, this application sends telemetry packets to servers in China. You have to grant the app permission to search for devices on the local network in order for it to find the WiFi camera tools that the app supports. You can and should deny the app access to cellular data, but this does not prevent to app from “calling home” once your device disconnects from the camera tools WiFi network and reconnects to any of your other saved WiFi networks. Call me paranoid, but this type of behavior is a massive security risk and should never be tolerated.

I use this tool to inspect AC evaporators. The tool and app worked great for about 2 years until I updated the app. Now it randomly crashes and keeps crashing making the tool useless until the app decides to work again.

I’ve tried two of these devices from Amazon and they work for a few minutes then stop. I think it may be an overheating issue. They seem to work longer when they are first turned on after a full charge. It’s beyond annoying and renders them useless. The app is junk as a result. And if you try to take a photo while recording video the app locks up. The app also says “lens pull out” all the time. Sometimes the device keeps working other times it tanks. If this was reliable it would be awesome.

One of the most useless things I’ve bought off Amazon. The camera disconnects every 5 seconds and then requires a complete app restart and reconnection. I’ve never once managed to find a use for this product since it simply never works long enough to be useful. Total trash, don’t bother buying the hardware or downloading the app.
