Absolutely vile and disgusting whilst being totally run by Beaufort1 and Singaporesling. If there was a rating of -0+ I would definitely give it to Derbyshire Live as their journalists and news editor are the pits and simply bone idle uncaring every day no news copy and paste posters from Facebook and Twitter .

Something broken. Regularly the app just closes itself

After the update every artical I read throws me off the website when I scroll down to read the end, so basically when I scroll down to the end of an artical it throws me off completely. Until now no problems, is this a problem with the update? Or my device?

What have you done the app is now inaccessible and counter intuitive. Nobody can use it. It’s ridiculous it won’t load properly and your individual choices mean you can’t see anything. Really shot yourselves in the foot with this one hope you didn’t pay to much to have this designed. It flipping useless

Why have DL disabled comments on most stories? Reading the associated comments are the opinions of the readers - the best part of this “local” rag!

WHY? The app should automatically keep everyone up to date without having to tap the annoying pop ups. And why are some of the articles written by infants? Then there’s the out of focus maps and lack of links to sites mentioned in the articles. You could do a lot better, but I don’t think you read these feedback, or you can’t be bothered.

Absolutely horrendous amount of cookies to manually opt out of so called ‘legitimate interest’. A total lack of privacy with no option to reject all. Couple that with substandard articles and this app just isn’t worth having any more. The days of old when it was the DET in print are sadly long gone.

Not happy about the amount of old news that keeps appearing. It needs to be more updated not reading old stuff over and over
