This game has a great story and gameplay. You find yourself going again and again trying new combinations of power ups and different characters and it never gets old.
I really enjoy this game. The characters are fun and I like the even mix of story telling and game play. A must download!
The main character is a they/them, but it should be was/were. Awful voice acting and the Spanish translation is cancer inducing. Almost makes subscribing to Netflix feel like a crime.
Throw the ball at the thing okay. Can’t aim, can’t play.
This is a lovely game in both style and story, and the mix of turn-based tactics and physics-based dodgeball throwing gameplay really engaged me (and it works very well on mobile). I managed to beat the game in my first run, but I wouldn’t call it too easy, given that it took many careful hours over multiple sittings. I’m also impressed by how much post-game content there is in the challenges and nightmare mode, and how hard they seem to be. All this, plus the free-with-Netflix price tag, makes me want everyone considering the game to give it a try.
I want to play this on my Backbone One.
I love this game a lot & recommend it often. I do wish the UI was easier to navigate. It’s great that the Challenges auto-save, but not giving them a Restart button means you have to wait for the AI to kill your whole team every time you need to restart a level. In a mode that plays like a puzzle game, this is incredibly frustrating & disincentivizes experimenting. I’ve beat the game and still don’t fully understand how character level ups and ability unlocks work. These usability moments are particularly annoying because of how smooth and intuitive the rest of the game is. Thanks for this gorgeous game!
Impactful. Made me cry. It’s a shame it got such poor reviews by some. I almost didn’t play it. I was just searching for a monument valley 3 and I found this. It’s nice to be represented as a first generation black Caribbean woman.
It’s actually a pretty darn good game. Restarting is annoying but it adds to the replay-ability of the game. But I'm about halfway through, and just had to turn it off. It’s as if someone came up with a good idea for a turn-based strategy game, and just sat around and tried to think of a way to stuff politics and gender identity into it
