Description

The app "Deutsch-Tibetisches Wörterbuch" is a joint project of Monlam Tibetan IT Research Center (India) and the Tibet Institute Rikon (Switzerland).
The wordlist is based on the German-Tibetan Dictionary, written by Losang Tenzin Mantö and published by the Tibet Institute Rikon.
The dictionary offers over 15’000 German-Tibetan translations. The majority of these words are used in everyday life of the Tibetan society within the German language area.
With this app, the Tibet Institute Rikon and Monlam IT intend to contribute to the preservation of the cultural heritage of Tibet in the German-speaking countries.
