DGEMS (Daily Gospel eMessages) are Daily Gospel Reflections since April 2001 which helps us to find God in our daily living. We all need God to heal, reaffirm, inspire, empower, guide and give us renewed hope in our pains and joys of life.
The app contains the Gospel passage for the day, following the Catholic liturgical calendar, and also a short reflection written by Msgr Philip Heng, S.J. This app is an initiative of the Jesuit Prayer Ministry.
The short reflections are only 4-5 sentences long, making them suitable for busy people nowadays in a fast-paced environment.
If you wish, we can daily remind you to reflect on the Gospel through our app.
You can also adjust the font size according to your preference, by changing it in the settings screen or pinching the screen.

Msgr Philip Heng, SJ is the present Parish Priest of the Jesuit run St Ignatius Church in Singapore. He is also the Vicar General of Archbishop William Goh in Administration, Finance, Religious, Ecumenism and Interreligious relations.

Why does it always says “can’t load data” after a week of downloading it. I always delete and download the app again and again.
disappearing content
After a few days of using the apps its content disappears
NO GOSPEL READINGS EVERY SUNDAYS
I had to uninstall and re-download the app again just to solve the issue. This becomes a routine to me (idk with others) every sunday and it’s so inconvenient. I hope you get to fix the issue

this app allows me to make my time useful by reflecting on the daily gospel.
Good but inconsistent
I love this app because it makes daily reflections easy and convenient. But recently, content has been inconsistent, sometimes no content for 3 straight days. You’re doing awesome work with the app, but the app is as good as regular and consistent content.
Mobile God's word of the day.
Love this application because it gives an accurate Gospel of the day and it is readable with options in Settings. Sometimes it loads slow and it turns blank when opened but overall usage of this application is useful for everyday purposes and devotion.
